Who We Are
SheBylds Foundation is a national, faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering families, particularly single working mothers and their children, through holistic support, healing, and empowerment. We exist to address the growing gap faced by single-parent households, especially those led by working women who earn 'too much' to qualify for traditional funding yet struggle to afford the rising costs of education. Our education assistance programs are designed to bolster emotional well-being and family stability. Through structured programs, partnerships, and community-based initiatives, SheBylds Foundation creates pathways for mothers and children to thrive mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and economically.
Why We Exist
In South Africa, the rise of women into professional and leadership roles has created a false perception of financial security. Many single working mothers carry the full responsibility of their households financially, emotionally, and socially without adequate support. This reality often leaves their children excluded from education funding, vulnerable to emotional and social challenges, and without positive mentorship and guidance.
The SheBylds Foundation was established to respond to this gap by providing education assistance programs, financial literacy, legal guidance, emotional healing, and faith-based mentorship. This initiative focuses on empowering families, ensuring that they are not just surviving but functioning, restored, and positioned for long-term stability.
